KCCA: FLOWER VASE & AEDES

30 January 2015

“Kinta Christian Cemeteries Association” (KCCA) was served with a summons by DBI after inspecting and finding Aedes larvae in the flower vases which have bee built on several memorials in our cemeteries. Even though these flower vases do have small holes to drain water away, they seemed to be clogged up due to flower stems placed by family members and other dirt accumulated over a period of time. They have given us TWO weeks to clear and CLOSE OR REMOVE ALL FLOWER VASES from the memorials.

The Management committee of KCCA hereby seeks the assistance of all Church Leaders to announce the following to their congregation at earliest possible opportunity.

    • Family members who have built memorials with attached flower vase must either remove it or fully seal it with cement.
    • Pre-built memorials in which bodies have yet to be buried but are left empty and thus allowing rain water to be collected are advised to fully seal them to avoid any possibility of rain water being collected.
    • Hereafter, KCCA will reject any application to build memorials which includes flower vase.

Honorary Secretary

CGMC WEBSITE: REVAMP-“ING”!

We regret that the CGMC website had to be taken down offline for the past week (or so). We are in the midst of revamping the Church’s website bringing you a new experience, browsing through the contents, materials, and resources the Church has to offer.

The website is still in progress. Therefore, please bear with us if you come across any page with incomplete or irrelevant information shown. This is our promise, that we’re trying our best, a race against time, to bring the website into completion.

Meanwhile, we hope that you like the new look of the website, and the features that come along with it.

PRAYER FOR CGMC 2016: SOZO MINISTRY

The success of CGMC 2016: SOZO Ministry depends on your prayers.

Let us soak CGMC 2016: SOZO Ministry in prayer from now until it’s over.

Pray individually at home and when you come to pray corporately in Church.

  • Pray for members of the Task Force for they have much to do in preparation, that they will work in unity and harmony.
  • Pray for the Conference Speaker: Madeline Tan that the God-given anointing and reputation as dynamic speakers, will precede them, so that Christians upon reading the publicity poster, will be drawn to register for the Conference in droves.
